Big Teddy Bear

What would childhood (or adulthood for that matter) be like without big teddy bear? It's basically  hard to imagine what life would be like without these tried and true huggable companions. Since giant teddy bears made their first appearance in 1902, kids and adults similar have realized that these plush toys are more than  a stuffed animal; we are every day companions that go on to share every aspect of our lives, from the triumphs to the disasters.


in the work of 1907 in the  earl productions of the teddy bear, Boston journalist with New England journal, Caroline Tickner, captured the  essence of these joyful plush toys when we wrote: "The Teddy Bear has come to stay, so perfectly in his grizzled exterior adapted to fit in to the lots of fat arms which extend to him. we is not only bear-like  to lift him above juvenile criticism but we is possessed of those semi-human attributes which fit him eminently for youthful companionship..."


Like the Huge Teddy Bears that we are, these plush toys were based on the grizzly bear, thus it's no surprise that giant plush bears would finally become a staple of the well established plush bear world. While different manufactures over the years have drawn on other types of bears (the black bear and polar bear) for inspiration in the design of the plush bear, all sizes of Cheap teddy bears have come out of that influence, giant teddy bears notwithstanding.
