White Teddy Bears

William Davies King who wrote Collections of Nothing, says "nearly everyone collects something, even those who don't think of themselves as collectors." he defines the impulse of collecting as "owning something in quantity for reasons beyond pure require." Generally, kids that collect things, also continue to do so in to adulthood. Plush bears, are a nice examples of things that kids share a close bond with and as is the case, they feel the necessity to make sure they have them in their adult lives. What was one times a cuddly companion that was used for snuggling up to in bed, often becomes something that is part of a collection of most cherished possessions.

Lovers of teddy bears don't always care what color their cherished large teddy bears are, as long as they have one, or one, or three (or more!) at all times. However, collectors of plush bears would argue that color is fundamental to the collection, so as to make sure integrity and consistency in the assembly of plush animals. White teddy bears are just one color of bear that some collectors cherish.

Since teddy bears were created in 1902, it didn't take  long for both kids and adults similar to figure out that they were much over just a soft toy; they are companions who are there for us through the  best and the  worst of our lives. It's therefore, no surprise that they would require to over on the custom of amassing them in a collection. A white teddy bear as part of such a collection will certainly assist you in ways you seldom thought possible; white is said to encourage us to clear the clutter from our heads and the obstacles from our lives which may be standing in our way of further success. The color white is also symbolically known to enable a brand spanking new beginning Who knew that as part of a white bear collection, a big teddy bear could be more to us than just a comfort?

Choosing what color and what type of plush bear to collect is a  personal affair. A white teddy bear as a collectors item is popular because of what the color white symbolizes. White is seen as pure, neat and neutral and is associated with both peace and purity as is evident in one very popular peace symbols: the truce flag and the white dove. You would be hard pressed to find another toy that can emulate purity like a white plush bear can. While the actual bears they are modelled after - in this case, the polar bear - don't necessarily conjure up thoughts of peacefulness, white Giant teddy bear, in all its white glory, is still symbolic nevertheless.
